Ely Eventing Centre facilities

Ely Eventing Facilities:

• Cross Country schooling in a designated area which includes a variety of fences and training exercises starting at 2ft and ranging up to 3ft 9in with the majority being around BE90 and BE100 level
• Two water complex with a large variety of jumping options, including jumps in the water.  The central complex is one of the longest in Europe, with the complex adjacent to the road now featuring a jumping island.
• Lots of ditches, some filled with water, in all sizes including 6 separate "coffin combinations"
• Sunken road complex and separate step/bank area to suit all levels
• Full British Eventing courses available at BE80, BE90, BE100, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.  These are all available in the week following our BE events, but can be made available at other times via prior arrangement.
• Classroom/lecture room and kitchen facilities available to groups by prior arrangement
• Temporary stables can be provided for camps if required - minimum booking of 2 nights is required

Hire Charges

Cross Country Course Hire 2020 Season

£30 per horse from 1st March

The Cross Country course will be open to hire all year round, weather and ground conditions permitting.

Cross Country Course hire will need to be booked through our online booking system, with all schooling to be booked and paid for prior to arrival.  

Private schooling is available to book in 1 hour booking windows, this is so that we can stagger bookings throughout the day and allow everyone to have much better access to the fences.  Riders are of course more than welcome to spend longer than an hour on course and take their time between horses.

Parking on hard standing is very limited, please park close to the next vehicle and DO NOT tie up to next to your vehicle when we are busy.  Cars are asked to park on the grass verge to leave room for lorry parking on the hard.

All schooling bookings will need to be made via of new booking site.  Everyone will receive a confirmation email (please check junk folders if nothing appears).  Riders will need to either print the confirmation and display in the horsebox window to act as a parking ticket or they will need to write down the reference number along with their names and display in the same way.  If in the event a cancellation needs to be made please please use the cancellation link on the confirmation email.  Rebooking voucher codes will then be issued via email - please be aware that this may take up to 5 days to complete however we aim to respond within 24hr.
