Competitors
- All competitors will be required to display their competitor number on the way into the event.
- Numbers will be crossed off the list as and when people arrive
- All competitors are to print their number bibs at home. Numbers should be clearly visible on an A4 sheet of paper and are to be used with rider’s own number bibs.
Competitor Connections
- Competitor connections are asked to print/write their name and contact phone number, on an A4 piece of paper, along with the competitor’s number and display this is the front of their vehicle.
- Connections will be filtered into a separate car park between show jumping and dressage
- Each horse is allowed 3 people – 1 rider, 1 groom/helper and 1 other. We request that these are kept to the bare minimum.
Dressage
Competitors
- Mounted competitors will enter the dressage warm up via the horse walk as per usual.
- Competitors will present to the dressage steward as per usual
- Competitors must stick to their given time
- The dressage judge will provide verbal feedback after your test and will had you your test sheet
Competitor Connections
- Connections/coaches/trainers are not permitted in the warm-up area. A dedicated area will be made available for connections that has good viewing of the arenas.
- Connection viewing area will be accessible from a pedestrian route from the lorry park
Show Jumping
Competitors
- Mounted competitors will access the show jumping via the horse walk as per normal
- 5 competitors will be allowed in the jumping warm-up at any one time.
- Help will be in the warm-up to alter fences for riders. No other persons will be allowed in the warm-up arena.
- Riders will exit the arena from a different gate and will proceed straight to the XC warm up.
- Riders must stick to their given times.
- We ask that riders show jump in the cross-country kit. A space will be made available in the XC warm up for tack changes.
Competitor Connections
- Connections/coaches/trainers are not permitted in the warm-up area. A dedicated area will be made available for connections that has good viewing of the arena.
- Connection viewing area will be accessible from a pedestrian route from the lorry park/car park
Cross-Country
Competitors
- Mounted competitors will access the warm-up directly from the show jumping arena.
- The XC Collecting Ring Steward will call riders forward to the start.
- Riders are asked to go to cross-country straight after show jumping
- Riders may select which height fences they jump on their round
- Watches may be worn
- If a horse has 2 refusals at a fence they may move on to the next fence. 3 refusals at any one fence and the horse must leave the course.
- Riders may remount after 1 fall. The rider will be asked to leave the course after a 2nd fall.
Competitor Connections
- Connections/coaches/trainers must not congregate in the warm-up area and must maintain social distancing
Departure
- Everyone is asked to leave promptly after they have finished - ARRIVE, COMPETE, LEAVE
- Please display your rider number in your lorry when leaving so the event staff can check off that you have departed
- Please take all rubbish home with you
